NORTH EAST MOTOR FIRM SHORTLISTED FOR THREE NATIONAL AWARDS

​South Shields-based motor retail firm Vic Young (South Shields) Ltd has been shortlisted for three prestigious industry awards at the 2016 AM awards, which will take place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham on Thursday February 11.​​

The family-run dealership, has beaten hundreds of rivals to make the final three in the Excellence in Customer Service and Best Dealership awards, while Managing Director Vic Young is also a finalist in the Dealer Principal/General Manager of the Year category.

The awards honour exemplary performance and innovation across 24 categories, from Best Dealer Website and Excellence in Aftersales to Best Sales Team and Best Fleet Operation.

A long established business, the firm marked its first anniversary as a Mitsubishi dealer in September 2015 by announcing a phenomenal year of sales in new cars. Since officially becoming Tyneside’s flagship Mitsubishi dealership, the South Shields-based firm has exceeded Mitsubishi’s sales target by 74% and has also recorded an impressive 97% customer satisfaction rate for the service it provides.​
